Seating Charts or Open Seating? from a Wedding Venue's perspective in Central Ohio

We have been doing weddings for over 15 years and we strongly believe in having a seating chart for your guests. Trust us when we say -- your guests appreciate it!

You don’t have to have place cards (but you can!) - just a seating chart.

Your guests want to know where they are going, and know that they have a seat awaiting them while they enjoy cocktail hour.

Want to see a cocktail hour not start well? Don’t have a seating chart…. People are worried about finding a seat for the group they want to sit with rather than enjoying cocktail hour. Then they don’t want to get up from their seats in fear of losing seat. And sometimes guests start flipping chairs over to save a seat and it is just a mess.

We hear it ALL the time that guests are so relieved when there is a seating chart!

It also shows you cared enough to put some thought into where and who people will be sitting with.

We have seen non seating chart weddings where friends were not able to sit together because there weren’t enough chairs at any table. Imagine the couple that mingled too long at cocktail hour only to find there weren’t 2 seats together for the to sit - Awkward for everyone!

And if you invited a guest that doesn’t know others, to know they have a seat is much more comfortable.

It also helps manage drama! (at least some of it!)

After dinner everyone can mingle - but knowing they have a seat for dinner is what is important!

And we make it easy for you! We have so many seating chart options and all you have to do is come up with the list - send it to me in a word document - I will print it out for the seating chart you have chosen! I will even do hand lettered seating charts. We have so many great options there is no reason not to!
